I’m a senior marketing student at the University of Montana, and this semester I’m starting a freelance calligraphy business as part of a class project. Over the past year, I’ve been working at The Modern Pastime in downtown Missoula, where I design custom chalkboards and window displays. Creating those designs is what ultimately inspired this project idea.

Before moving to Missoula, I grew up in a small town in western Washington, where I worked for a small, local business. The owner became a mentor,

introducing me to the behind-the-scenes of running a business and providing me with opportunities to grow creatively. I managed the shop’s social media and designed custom graphics. That job is what first sparked my passion for entrepreneurship, marketing, and design.

From menu boards to wedding banners and everything in between, I love taking on projects of all kinds; no idea is too big or too small. Each project is an opportunity to bring creativity and a personal touch that makes your business, event, or space truly stand out. I create custom designs that are not only visually appealing but also meaningful and tailored to your vision, helping your ideas stand out and leave a lasting impression.
If you’re looking for custom design work that elevates your business, adds a memorable element to an event, or simply brings your creative ideas to life, I’d love to connect and collaborate. And if you’d like to follow along as I grow this creative venture, be sure to check out my blog for updates, behind-the-scenes, and inspiration from the projects I’m working on.
